November 10th, 2017 - G.R. Smith Racing Preparing for Busy 2018 Season
GR Smith Racing – Team 22 Inc. is putting the final pieces into place to have their most ambitious season to date in 2018. The team is looking to pursue an aggressive schedule with either the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series or the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

It will mark the first time that GR Smith Racing – Team 22 Inc. has chased a national championship.

While the team has secured some great sponsors already, they are currently seeking additional associate sponsors as they embark on a grueling national tour.

There are marketing opportunities available to meet any company’s budget or advertising goals.

November 4th, 2017 - Shirley Lands Top 10 Finish in World Finals A-Main
1Powering the Victory Circle Auto Sales #22 Super Late Model, Brian Shirley traveled to the Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, North Carolina) on Thursday evening for the 11th annual Textron Off Road World Finals. Drawing 75 Super Late Models for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned weekend, Brian followed up the 11th fastest time in his qualifying group with the 13th fastest in his group during the second session.

Returning on Saturday for another $12,000-to-win A-Main, Shirley suffered mechanical issues in his heat race that prevented him from finishing. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the finale, Brian logged an 8th place outing forcing him to rely on a provisional into the main event. Starting in 27th, Brian Shirley improved ten positions in the 50-lap affair registering a 17th place outing.
